EXPERIENCE SOUTH AMERICA THROUGH
THE EYES OF ROSA
South America is home to elegant cities, wild jungles, the ruins of ancient civilisations, and the mighty Amazon River. However, this region is also troubled by abject poverty resulting from the unequal distribution of productive land, civil wars, drug-dependent economies, corrupt governments and natural disasters. Thousands of South America's rural citizens have been displaced* and are forced to live in squalor in the cities. Forty million children are living or working on the streets of Latin America. Your experience takes you to a rural community high in the Andes Mountains where you'll meet Rosa, a beautiful 10 year-old-girl born to a hardworking but poor farmer.
